Big Apple BBQ Block Party 2011

Big Apple BBQ Block Party 2011

by BiteSizedJonathan on June 15, 2011

This year was the 9th annual Big Apple Barbecue Block Party at Madison Square Park. I was working this weekend and only made it to the barbecue with enough time to scarf down a pulled pork sandwich before I had to run. Jon was able to attend the festival both days and decided to do a photo essay of the food he saw and tasted. The smoky fragrant air and jovial atmosphere of the block party is always a fun start to the summer and we are happy to share our photos with you!

This post is making me very hungry indeed. Love the shot of the cracker with the egg-sausage-jalapeno stack. – S

Drool! I went to the BBQ Block Party a few years ago, ah! Wish I could’ve gone again.
